Surely this is just the "Rob Effect"? Despite my chickening out of this year's event we've been experiencing the thrill of stormie noises at night recently, as Alexander does a fantastic line in storm petrel snores - he sounds just like the stormie songs as heard from just around the cliffs...

I am interested in your use of a chemical attractant to catch stormies. It brings to mind the efforts of U.S. white-tailed deer hunters to disperse the scent of estrous does near the hunter's blind. There are many products on the market for deer scent dispersal. See for example:http://www.bowhunts.com/scent.html. I would welcome a chance to discuss this issue with you in detail. -TATE
